I have never been so hardworking on blogging until this month.
Used to be very passionate with it, maintaining my site religiously, posting regularly with pictures and interesting findings. And then a decade later, with more work commitments and distractions from computer games ( I remember my craze over Gunbound, Maple Story & Granado Espada, and then now Facebook!), my interest died.
Then came 2010's December when I was practically doing nothing for a whole month. So there, a daily post on my slacking activities.
Another few more days, this site will be left alone again to collect spider cobwebs, perhaps until 2011 December?
Just returned from a filming a corporate video for my organisation on the nature of our job.
I wonder if I am just plain lucky (or unlucky) to be selected as the "actress" whenever there are such lobangs. Acting is actually not easy. Need to re-do the same action many times to get that perfect shot. So a few seconds of a certain scene take one whole day to film.
I have my fair share of the 15-seconds of fame on TV news on a number of occasions. There were a few times when people actually could recognize me while I was doing my inspections even though the scenes were shown for a few seconds usually.
"Hey, isn't she the girl on the news, checking the roof last night.....?"
Wow, I felt like a movie star already.
No wonder people yearn to be famous celebrities.
Nothing much to do on a blue Monday, except a slow jog in the morning after clearing some work at the office.
Was supposed to grab some fantastic deals at a certain shop together with my husband. My whole afternoon was wasted on waiting for him (because he delayed our appointment again and again), while I kept myself occupied in front of the computer screen.
And then when we got to the boutique at Marina Bay Sands, there were a few hiccups and we did not manage to enjoy the fantastic deals.
And then came the heavy showers again.
Sigh, December is really a bad month for bumming.
Yes! Finally the sun's out! But it's blocked by so many clouds. Duhs.
Nowadays I no longer hang around at the adult pool because there's too much shade there. But it's always so noisy at the children's pool. No matter how loud I blast my music, I still can hear kids screaming.
Been lying beside this uncle who's always in orange trunks and have big tattoos on his pelvis area 4 times in a row. It's always those few regular tanners at Safra Mount Faber. Ogle until sian already. Adam Chen seems to have disappeared. He has a really nice body!
If you are a regular patron at a certain place, will you say hi and make small talk with the staff or the regulars there?
I am an anti-social person by nature. So far, the only person whom I say hi, after frequenting the club for the past 2 years, is to one of the swimming instructors. He once told me that he wanted to teach me how to swim.
Yeah! Finally the weekend. It's been ages since I last had breakfast at McDonald's. My husband delivered what he had promised. Breakfast Deluxe at East Coast McDonald's. But before that, we did an 8km run along the park and another 2km walk after breakfast to collect Ally which was parked at Fort Road, before pampering our poor feet at Nature Care - our usual haunt for a good foot reflexology session at Beo Crescent.
I have the best husband in the world. No matter how tired he is, he'll always accommodate my whims and fancies. His life certainly revolves a lot around me. I wonder if that is a good or bad thing.
Finally some dry weather in the late afternoon to burn off unwanted calories due to excessive intake of mini cornettos while staying glued in front of the computer screen watching movies on Thursday. And it started to pour again after I finished my 6km run *phew*
Hubby came home early, and we were snuggling together in bed watching a Taiwanese drama - "18禁不禁?". I almost died laughing in tears.
It's a rainy Thursday. Slacked at home, DIY-ing the 2011 calender and wrapping Xmas pressies. My life's so exciting!
Oh gosh, what am I doing back at the office again? I think the problem is because my workplace is too near to home, and that it is so convenient to pop in anytime I like.
Checked out the Adidas Sales at Wing Tai Building (105 Tampines Road). The bus journey itself from office was an hour. Taking bus rides used to be my hobby when I was still schooling, and it's still quite enjoyable, looking at the scenery from the bus. But there was this group of girl students who nearly make my head split with their rowdy chatter and horrendous laughter throughout the bus ride. Just plain inconsiderateness.
Did not manage to find any good bargains at the Adidas sale. Proceed to Ion for more Christmas shopping. Rewarded my tired legs with a new pair of slippers.
Total shopping expenditure: $210 (slippers + Xmas gifts)
Another cloudy day. So I stayed at home to continue my search & destroy bug operation.
Went to Vivo City to get new ink + photo paper & items to DIY my 2011 calender.
Total shopping expenditure: $70
Life became very mono during the 2nd week of my December vacation break. Other than the routine housekeeping, facebook-ing and jogging, what else is there to do daily? Most of my peers are busy working, and I have to hang on till the evening before my husband come home from work to entertain my boredom. Brought forward my Christmas shopping to this week instead of next week.
Found myself creeping back to the office again to clear some paper work before proceeding to Orchard Road for some Christmas shopping. But then the weather was so uncooperative and I got stuck in the office for half an afternoon.
The malls in Orchard were pretty packed with people even though it's a Monday. Gave in to temptation and bought new swim wear again.
Total shopping expenditure: $300 (swim wear + Sephora Xmas gifts + skincare)
